he training program within BK-LAB continues in collaboration with the Tuscany Region. We were visited by the 5Ac and 5Bc classes from I.T. Carlo Cattaneo in San Miniato (specializing in chemistry and materials) for a day of company training.

Cutting-edge instruments were made available, such as the LC-MS with triple quadrupole and HPLC-DAD for qualitative and quantitative determination of medium to highly polar organic compounds in liquid or solid samples (Bisphenols, PFAS, Bioacids, Formaldehyde), and the GC-MS with triple quadrupole for qualitative and quantitative determination of a wide range of predominantly organic substances with low polarity and low molecular weight, having a boiling point below 300°C (APEO, AP, Phthalates, Azo dyes, Chlorophenols, VOCs, Glycols, Siloxanes).
